Analysis Toolbar

I am working with Professional 2002 and cannot seem to
add the "analysis" toolbar so that I can do some
exporting of timephased data to excel. According to the
help file I should be able to just go to View menu, then
Toolbars and it should be there under Analysis. This
appears to be missing on my copy. Any thoughts on how to
add that option into the program. Please email me at

If you don't see Analysis when you right-click on the toolbar area, you may
want to think about trying to reinstall Project Pro 2002. It is installed
as apart of Project Pro and isn't an option that you might have missed in
the installation.

Here are some steps you can take from a previous poat in
this newsgroup:

If you already have the COM Add-Ins command on the Tools
menu, skip to step 6.
1. On the Tools menu, point to Customize, and then
click Toolbars.
2. Click the Commands tab, and then click Tools in
the Categories list.
3. Drag COM Add-Ins from the Commands box over the
Tools menu on the menu bar. When the Tools menu commands
appear, point to where you want the COM Add-Ins command
to appear on the menu, and then release the mouse button.
4. In the Customize dialog box, click Close.
5. On the Tools menu, click COM Add-Ins.
6. In the Add-Ins available list, do one of the
following:
1) To load an add-in, select the check box next to
its name. If the add-in you want isn't in the list, click
Add, locate the add-in, and then click OK.
2) To unload an add-in from memory but keep its name
in the list, clear the check box next to its name. To
remove an add-in from the list and from memory, click its
name, and then click Remove.

Thanks for those instructions Anonymous.

Based on my readings from the other Project MVPs, we believe that the
Analysis Toolbar missing may be because you upgraded Project Pro from a
previous version of Project.

If the instructions in the prior post don't work, I believe you will need to
reinstall Project Pro.
