I DO NOT have my excel CD or anything like that. I use all Microsoft
functions all day long at home. I have an instance where I need the Analysis
Toolpak now and it will not load. It tells me to ge the CD, so if I do not
have the CD then how am I able to lad this thing? There has to be a way
somehow.

The way to do it would be to buy a new copy of Excel, uninstall your existing
copy, and install the new copy and the analysis toolpak.

Well now that isn't exactly right is it? I shouldn't have to pay Microsoft
twice for this...there outta be another way. I was able to locate my Driver,
Utililties and Applications CD from my initial laptop purchase.....would this
help at all?

Mike -

I think you can use any Office/Excel CD that has the same version of Excel
as the one that is already installed. Maybe you could borrow the CD from a
colleague.

There may be some other way to add the Analysis ToolPak, but it's a
multi-file installation and it likely involves changes the the Windows
Registry. You could search Google or groups.google.com for alternatives.

I will go for the borrowing of the cd then from someonoe....I didn;t know if
the Dell Applicatoins, Utilities and Drivers CD would have anything on it,
and I do not want to try for fear of wrecking everything.

It does not.

Dell supplies a separate disk with the Microsoft Office Applications.

Dell usually installs the ATP, though.
