Can anyone help? (Sorry if this is not the way you do things; I'm new
to using groups, let alone this one!) (I'll get on with it....!)
I am wanting to use the "Analyze it with MS Excel" facility in MS
Access (Tools>Office Links, from the "Datasheet view" of a table).
I have done this many times before with no problem, but all of a
sudden, for some reason I now get the following error message:
"Microsoft Access can't save the output data to the file you've
selected.
* The files may be open. If so, close it, and then save the output data
to the file again.
* If you are using a template, check to make sure the template exists.
* if the file isn't open, check to make sure that you have enough free
disk space."
As far as I'm aware, the file isn't open and I'm not using a template.
To be sure I have temporarily emptied the receiving folder to ensure
there is enough space and also tried directing the "Default database
folder" (Tools>Options>General) to another known drive with plenty of
space.
What's confusing me most is that nothing has changed for it now not to
work.
Can anyone help. Any help or suggestions at all would be most
gratefully received.....I'm stumped!
