Hello,
I'm new to Project, so I may not have my terminology exactly right, but what
I am trying to do is extract task usage information to Excel (specifically
hours). From reading through other posts, it seems I can do this easily
through a wizard from the "Analysis" Toolbar. My problem is, I do not see an
"Analysis" Toolbar. I thought maybe I didn't have the full version installed
so I had my administrator reinstall the full version, but I am still not able
to find this toolbar. I am running Project 2002 Professional Version. Any
insight on this would be greatly appreciated!

Here is the help info I am going by:
1. On the View menu, click Gantt Chart.
2. If applicable, select the tasks you want to export.
3. On the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Analysis.
4. Click Analyze Timescaled Data in Excel.
5. Following the Analyze Timescaled Data Wizard instructions, click the
fields you want to export to Excel.

Hi Julie, Thanks for responding so quickly!
I actually tried all of those suggestions (i.e. renaming all the "Global"
files) with no luck. In fact none of my co-workers has this option either.
Is that wizard only available for the "Enterprise" edition?

Thanks.

Turns out I didn't have the proper admin rights to view this (and other
features) of Project. Seems kind of odd that the feature would be disabled
to certain users, but perhaps my account was never set up properly to begin
with.? Anyway, just wanted to share my answer with anyone else experiencing
this problem.

Hi Matt,
Glad you were able to get it sorted out and thanks for letting us know the
solution you found.
