Dear all,
i justz switched from POP3 to IMAP and have the same troubles with the
sent folder on the server like many useres before.
First i was satisfied as i learned, that a rule can move sent items to
the server sent folder. Then i disconnected the online connection and
wrote a mail. In the moment where i press the "Senden"-Button (german
for send) Outlook tries to apply the rules and to copy the Mail to
the sent folder on the server, while the Mail itself is put in the
Outbox and waits there until i reconnect the PC again to the dial up
network. Because of the factm that Outlook can´t reach the IMAP-Server
Sent folder as long as i´m offline, a rule-windows appears and tells
me that the rule can´t be applied and disables the rule. I´m not sure,
why i´m the only one, who is having this problem. Do you all have not
dial-up network or is there a solution that will avoid this mistake.
Any help is welcome.
