Animate a line when no # is on line (it's skipping lines)

I have a ppt slide that is :
words
##
and when I try to animate, only the "word" line has a # and will animate. I
need to animate the 2 lines separately (question & answer format). How do I
do it?

Remove the blank line and use line spacing (Format|Line Spacing, adjust the
"before" or "after" setting) to create the space instead.

Then your bullet points will animate as you expect.
