animated emails

I have one Outlook 2000 user for whom animated emails do not move. If this
user logs in anywhere on the network, her emails will not be animated. If she
sends the same email to other users, the animation works fine. If another
user logs in to a workstation she uses, the animation will work fine. It is
just this user's email client that does not support animation. How do we fix
this?

How are you creating the animation? There are some third-party programs that
do this. If you are using one of these, perhaps it needs to be reinstalled.

Please be sure that the user wants to have animated emails. :)

The animated email in question came in to the mailbox from an outsider. How
do we determine what the program is that the email is looking for? I have
tried loading macromedia flash, but that doesn't seem to do any good.

I don't know what she is receiving in. I set the outgoing to HTML from RTF,
no improvement. How do I determine the receipt format? The graphic appears
fine, it just doesn't move.

The recipient needs to check.
If it is you that is sending the email then check your own settings and make
sure you don't have that users contact entry set to receive rich-text.

I still don't know how you check the user's client to determine what formats
they are set to receive. I can find settings for outgoing. I was not the one
to send the email, but if I log on to my workstation as this person, the
animated email works fine.

You can't check the users settings!

The recipients are unable to change an incoming email format, but when they
receive an email and open it up, the title bar at the top of the screen will
indicate which format that particular email is in. It will say something like
"(HTML)", "(Rich Text)", or "(Plaint Text)".
