animated gif - behaviour like a normal movie - is this possible?

Hi;

i would like to use animated gifs with the same behaviour as inserted
movies - the animated gif should start its animation when i click on it.
is this possible with PP xp/2003?

In my Powerpoint the gifs allways starts immediately after inserting
them in my presentation... :(
