Animated slide background

I would like to generate a text slide with a changing background. All my
attempts have resulted with he text moving behind the animations

Ormondron,

If you are using any kind of video / movie file, then they will always play
on top of your content.

The other option is animated GIFs, but they don't play too smoothly
