Animating diagrams

I have managed to animate a bar chart diagram by letting each element (bar)
appear after the other in the diagram. I am now wondering if it would be
possible to get each bar "grow" up from the x-axis instead of just appearing
in "full length"?

Try starting with a wipe (from bottom) animation and see if that helps.
