Animation differences in PPT2010

Swift Half

In PPT2010, if a shape is initially hidden when its parent slide is
shown in the slideshow, even though the shape is later shown, no
animations will ever run for that shape. This behaviour is different
to PPT2007, which would run the animations on any shape as long as it
was visible at the point of the animation.

Does anyone know how I might be able to work around this restriction?
Is there a way to get PPT to re-scan the slide once the shapes are
shown?

Thanks,
Dave.

Do you mean that the animation won't ever run again, ever, or that it
won't run again during the current run of the presentation in slideshow
view?
