Animation features do not work when copied

I have copied a presentation from my desktop to my laptop but the hide slide
and animation features do not work. Both are XP.

However when I copy the files to my old laptop running '98 they work fine.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately you've posted to the group for Mac PPt. You'd do better to
post to the group for PPt for Windows ‹ but they'll need much more specific
version info plus details about you're copying from one system to another:
