Animation in HTML did not appear in some computers

I have a webpage (HTML) that was produced from powerpoint. I burn it into a
cd and have passed to some pple. There are many slideshows with animation
that are interlinked. When the cd is inserted into the CD-rom, it opens
automatically and there is background music running in the background.

Most pple have no prob hearing the background music but some pple have
comaplined that they can't hear the sound (animation) in the slideshows (that
is hyperlinked to the home page). I had thot it may be because they do not
have runtime animation and so have asked them to download the add-in from
microsoft downloads. Is this the onyl reason or has it anything to do with
the OS (Op System)? Seems like only XP Professional can't hear the animation.

I am thinking perhaps it is that when they install/ run the add-in, their
security in their ppt (tools->macro->security) is switched to high (which is
usually the case) and so it prevents the add-in from working. Is there any
other reason? Or is there a way to check if the add-in is in the add-in list?
Cos when I try to view the "add-in" list, it doesn't indicate that the
animation runtime add-in is saved. How do I save it? I can't seem to find the
step-by-step instructions.

There was also mention that I should "clear the cache". How do I do that?
Sorry, am totally not a comp person, so some things which may seem simple, is
actually quite baffling. Hope someone can enlighten me pls. Thanks for your
time.
