I would like to continuously loop the animation in a single slide, is this
possible? If so, How?

What animations do you want to loop? If you are intending to loop animations
such as fade in and out repeatly, you can use OfficeOne Animations 2.3 Add-in
( http://officeone.mvps.org/anims/anims.html ).

If it is a single animation, you can double click on the effect, then click
on the Timing tab. Under Repeat, select "Until End of Side".

If it is a series of animations on a single slide, you probably need to put
the particular slide into a custom show, then have a hyperlink (you can use
action button to do so) which links to the custom show. Next, select Slide
Show > Set Up Show. Put a checkmark to Loop continuously until Esc. Also, you
will need to set the particular slide to advance automatically after (Click
Slide Show > Slide Transition).

Alternately, you can create a new presentation and paste the particular
slide on the new presentation. Then in your current presentation, activate
the content through custom animation. In this way, you do not need to add an
action button.
Next, on the new presentation, select Slide Show > Set Up Show. Put a
checkmark to Loop continuously until Esc. You will also need to set the slide
to advance automatically after (Click Slide Show > Slide Transition).
