[ANN] Office 12.0.1 Updater Now Available via AutoUpdte

In case there are some who don't have the AutoUpdate set to check
automatically, the new 12.0.1 updater is now in place. I just applied it
myself & all appears to have gone as expected thus far.

All apps About screen reflect the 12.0.1 nomenclature.

Bob,

When you now open the Microsoft AutoUpdagte and click on
"View installed Updates" does it show the 12.0.1?

If so, what does it say and do you know where that text is saved?

The reason for asking is I would like to update my list. I downloaded
and ran the update before it was made available to the AutoUpdate

Hi arkay - see below;

No, it doesn't show up. Why I do not know.

Apparently 2008 isn't creating an Updater Logs folder or file. The only
thing I've located so far is the updated nomenclature in the About...
Dialogs & the info below.

If you do a Spotlight search for 12.0.1 you'll get a list of "Other" results
that indicate the 12.0.1.incremental.pkg installations.

Thanks.. too bad it is not writing the file. If that is the only
problem with 2008, we can live with it
