ANNOYING TIMEWASTERS IN EXCHANGE WEBMAIL

I

Ian Johnson

Every time I want to open a message (even a new blank so that I can create
one to send), I'm being asked to confirm my password, and every time I send
one I'm being asked if it's OK to close the message. And it's suddenly
started opening a new page when I'm trying to use Explorer as a second tab in
Web mail. This has only started happening recently. What's the cause? It's a
pain in the butt!

OWA is part of Exchange, not Outlook. I would first ask your Exchange admin
and then ask in microsoft.public.exchange.clients.

Can't really tell OWA (Outlook Web Access) is even involved. The only
pieces of useful information that I could cull out of the original post
was that the user was using some unidentified web browser to access
their e-mail account using the webmail interface. So ...

Not an Outlook issue. A web browser issue.
