Is there a way to hide from an e-mail recipient who the sender of the message
is?

In addition to Sue's reply - there is no true anonymity on the Internet, no
matter what someone may try to sell you. What is your goal here, anyway?

Sure. Open your account properties and enter some bogus address in the
"E-mail Address" field.

And hope your recipient doesn't know how to read e-mail headers.

The most they'd get from the headers is the system name and IP address, the
latter most likely NATted so only the ISP would be known.
