office 2007 professional FULL >> 499$
office 2007 professional UPG >> 329$
works 8.0 >> 40$

if i buy works 8 + upgrade to office 2007 >> 369$ total

is it right? it is possible to upgrade office 2007 from works 8.0? i have
just to install works and then to override it with office?
and onenote 2007, will it come in an upgrade version? will it be upgradable
only from onenote 2003?

ty in advance

Office 2007 varies from previous installations in that the CD of the qualifying product must be installed - you can no longer just "show" it to the upgrade CD and complete the installation.

| So, yes, that should work.

Hi Milly,

That informatio is incorrect. If the qualifying product is not installed using the original media from the qualifying product will
be used by the 2007 Office products.

uh
ok, thanks

so, if i have the trial of O2K7 installed, if i have the full license, i'll
be able to use it just by putting in the already installed suite my new
(and not trial) serial code; if i buy works + upgrade license (i was an old
office 97 user), i'll have to uninstall office trial, then install works
and finally "overwrite" it with office upgrade?

thanks for your answers

Hi Dan,

It is my understanding that you will be able to purchase a conversion code to convert to retail the Office 2007 trial copy for
either full package or upgrade licensing. Personally, I'd prefer to purchase a CD product to always have that available for 'down
the road' issues.

You shouldn't need to actaully install MS Works prior to installing an Office 2007 upgrade.
