anoying image placeholders

Hi there, is there a solution (by now) for the anoying image place holders
that show up just before the actual image is loaded on the net ??

Hummm. Don't remember anyone describing it as annoying...slow loading,
yes...and some complaints about how the whole page loads being a bit
disconcerting... But to answer your question, no, there has been no change
and I doubt that you will see one with Pub 2007. I doubt that you will see
any major changes with Pub 2003, as it will be replaced with 2007 sometime
late this year or the first of next year...or so they say.
