AnswerWorks - what is it?

Previously posted on Word - no response, (Can't find Office 2003)

When I tried to remove TurboTax (using Add/Remove in the CP) I get
a message "AnswerWorks has been installed on your computer. If you remove
it, it might affect other programs you have installed. We recommend you
click Don't Remove"

An IE search reveals it has something to do with the spell checker in
Word/Excel/possible Office.

What is this thing? I certainly don't want to screw by spell checker.

What to do???
