Antivirus and a good host

Still having difficulty posting, sent microsoft tips from experts in this forum to host (no service/no help). I am having difficulty finding host that understands/works well with front page and provides service (recommendations please)...for personal website.

Also - we have norton antivirus and ghost Surf - could also be causing problems? Not understanding the connection as to why? Please clarify ... I am very hesitant to turn them off . As I write this, Norton is blocking out attacks....

I use the McAfee antivirus and don't have a problem.

if you just need a small website use my contact link below and I'll set you
up with something. there are no FrontPage problems ever with the hosting
since I use FrontPage exclusively to publish and wouldn't tolerate them. ;-)

the ghost surf is probably the more likely culprit.

if you post a url to your site I can see if the extensions are applied (sort
of).

I believe the site is dead in the water as I cancelled with them already within the 30 days and was not able to ever get anything published. That is the frustrating part, I am fine with FP and its functionality but just have not been able to publish.

The site with the last host (now cancelled) is http://www.ck-rankin.com. Now that i have cancelled I am getting a bad gateway if I key in that URL. (Although we now own that domain name, or are supposed to anyways...)

The first site we did was through a free host, Rogers, and pieces of it are still at:
http://members.rogers.com/ck-rankin/
you will see that most (pretty much all) that I am publishing are photos.

I checked. if you're Catherine from Craydon Rd. it's yours.
You should go to wherever you set up the domain name and set it up to a
"holding page" or forward it into your new site.
