Help!
I can't remember how to do something that I know is very simple...
I want the number "1" to show up in cell A2, if cell A1 has anything i
it. I don't care what info is in A1, but if there's something there,
want A2 to display the number "1". How do I do it?!?!? I know it'
incredibly simple, because I've done it before, but I can't remembe
how, and I can't find anything in the help file about it.
I tried to define a wild card symbol so excel's algorithm would loo
for any kind of data in A1, but I can't find a way to do it. Neither *
#,? or ~ work as wild card indicators for this.
Any ideas? Please let me know ASAP.
