Any problems I'll encounter with Office XP & Windows XP SP2?

I am intending on updating Mom's machine with SP2 in order to stop porn
pop-ups, (she can't stand them. Any issues that SP2 is going to 'surprise' me
with as far as her Office XP or printing (Compaq IJ750) is concerned? Any
special things to consider beforehand? She's on dial-up so I was hoping to
download any needed fixes before I went up to her place. THANX!!

It's worked fine for me but I'm curious as to why she has porn popups?
There are many popup blockers available on the web, many of the best
ones are free and they all seem to work very well.
