Yes, it's OK to have both installed. I don't recommend using both versions
of Entourage because of the sync issues, but it is possible.

The only issue is once you install Office 2008 the Office 2008 version of
Word will want to open instead of Office 2004 version. I'll let the Word
users explain the best way to work around this issue.
