Any tips connecting to Exchange server?

I'm new to Mac. I'm having trouble connecting to my work exchange
server with entourage (2008). I've set up the account using my
credentials. It appears to be connected by virtue of the fact that if
I disconnect the network cable (or VPN), the suffix "not connected"
appears after the account name at the top of the folder list. But I
can't see my exchange account folders nor can I send / receive mail
when connected.
I'd love to get this working after spending AUD$600 on the software!
Cheers,
Damo

The problem is that there are many many ways to setup these servers.
DO you know what version of Exchange it is?

Well try using the address of the OWA server as the server address.
If the server is Exchange 2007, you can try installing the Exchange Web
Service update from Mactopia. Much improved over the previous version.
