Any Visual Baasic Users Having Mouse Scrolling Problems?

S

I just got a new Dell 8300 with Win XP and Office11 (2003).
It came with a "Dell" corded optical wheel mouse that
won't scroll in ANY Visual Basic window. Otherwise, the
mouse works just fine everywhere else. Yes, I've
reinstalled the driver.
My Device Manager says I have a mouse made by Microsoft,
but Dell claims that it is made by Logitech. I'm looking
for any Visual Basic user who has had or has not had mouse
scrolling problems. I'm trying to pin down what the
problem is.

Yes, I have a similar problem. It was OK under Win2K on my old machine, but
when I got a new machine with WinXP (all other S/W same, same mouse, same
and newer mouse driver tried) I also lost the scrolling in all VB windows
(Office VBA and Visual Studio).
Should I get lucky I'll post back.

Thanx for the reply. I was beginninig to think I am the
only one with this problem. I REALLY want the scrolling to
work so I can zoom up and down through the code. So far
the only advice I've gotten is to reinstall my driver,
which I've done. Surely someone at Microsoft or Dell knows
what the problem is. C'mon, guys, tell us what to do about it.

Dave,

I tried VBScroll and it works, thanks very much!
For anyone out there reading, before installing I scanned with Norton AV
Corporate, virus def 26/04/04 and it came out clean.
