Any way to merge lines and arcs into one shape?

I'm trying to draw a rectangle with only the top 2 corners curved. So I did
this by drawing 2 arcs and 4 lines. But now it doesn't seem like I can fill
the shape with a color or gradient. I tried holding control and selecting
each part of the shape until all parts were selected, but when I use fill it
only fills in the space within the arcs. Is there an extremely easy way to
do this that I'm stupidly overlooking?

Thank you. I bookmarked the link.

Use a graphics editor such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. Using shapes
from the drawing toolbar will give you major problems down the line.
See http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/tests/vml-graphics.htm for reasons
why VML graphics (anything produced using the drawing toolbar) should
be avoided.
