My husband is presently self-employed and needs to get a resume done to be
able to look for a job. Anyone have any suggestions on where to start? He's
been in the same business, selling wholesale automobiles, for over 30 years,
with not much else as far as experience in other fields. Would appreciate any
help!!!

Templates provide format, not context. He needs to visit some of the career
sites, like monster.com, etc.

Besides the template/format issue, a resume needs to be tailored to each
prospective employer and specific positions that are available.
The job market is very tough these days, and it takes a bit extra to be
successful.
(Every position I've held in the last ten or so years was the direct result
of submitting a tailored resume, usually by electronic means.)
