Anyone help with File imports in Word???

I made some tables in Excel with specific colour coding - copied them to Powerpoint for a presentation. Then copied them into a word documnet - where if you double clikc on it the excel template comes up within the word documnet. THe colours are shown on the page, are shown when you look on print preview but when I print it out it, only a couple of the colours come out - everything else is black
Any ideas??
