I am thinking of Inking on a desktop with Word 2003 from time to time.
Inking on my Toshiba M200 Tablet PC works very well in Word 2003.

Question: Can I use a USB mouse and the graphics tablet at the same
time ? (Not simultaneously .. but, drop one and use the other).

Anyone writing on Top of Word 2003 with a Graphics tablet ?

All help appreciated.

I use a graphire 2 and graphire 3 both with MS Word
no problems with connecting a USB mouse and/or PS2 mouse at the same time

however, you obviously can't use both pointing devices at the same time :)

if you are interested I have a Intuous 6x9 serial that I would like to sell

Hi Pete,

I cannot seem to ink in Word 2003 with this Graphire3 (4x5) tablet I
have.
I think I might get a 6x8 version so the writing is smaller/smoother
in other apps.

You must be running Microsoft Office Word 2003 on a Tablet PC (Tablet
PC: A computer that runs Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition. With
a Tablet PC, you can write directly on the screen by using a tablet
pen and use the pen to perform mouse functions. Also known as a tablet
computer.) to use this feature.
