Anyone know why the Auto recovery location cannot be changed?

After using Office 2003 "Save My Settings" feature to port over my Office
2003 settings from my old computer to the new one, I get a dialog that states
thet the Auto Recovery location <file path> cannot be saveed to . . . yadah,
yadah. It is pointing to a location on the other computer, which is a
different drive letter. When I try to change it in the Tools\Options menu, I
get a dialog that tells me the location does not exist, which is why I am
attempting to change it, but it will not allow me to. Anyone know a work
around for this issue?

You could try "Help, Detect and repair". If that doesn't work, you could
temporarily create the old Letter and path with the Subst command and
then change it, Or someone here may know the location of the info and
you could edit directly.
