Anyone seen this error before???

the extension entry for 3.0;;;;;;;;;contains configuration
information that is not valid, check the .ecf file for
this extension

I've searched all over microsoft's site and the web and
can't find anything about it. It happens right after you
open Outlook. I've seen this error numerous times on other
users PCs. Any ideas?

Which version of Outlook? If OL2003, did you upgrade and keep the same
profile? What extensions are listed in the addins? Did you delete extend.dat
and restart Outlook?

Outlook 2000, It was a clean install, and the error comes
up under any user profile. As for add-ins in the add-in
Manager I have; Exchange scan (checked), Delegate Access
(checked), Deleted Item Recovery (checked), Exchange
Extension commands (checked), Exchange Extensions property
commands (checked), and Server Scripting (unchecked). I
haven't deleted extend.dat yet I will try that.
