AOIndex is not an index in this Table

I get the above message when opening one of my access
database files. Because of this error, the database will
not open. Is there anyway to open this database?
"AOIndex is not an index in this table"

Thanks for any help that you can give.

I think that's a sign of a "corrupt" (i.e., damaged) database file. See
Tony Toews' Corrupt MDB FAQ page:

It has a wealth of information on these kinds of problems.
