Did Microsoft ever fix the apos; problem whereby FrontPage puts
a ' into code and Internet Explorer improperly displays it
as '?

Can't give a solution, but it is weird.

If you put ' in the code, it shows up as a ' (apostrophe) in the design
view in FP, but as ' in the preview mode in FP (and assumably the
browser).

If you have FP2003, doing this in "split" mode shows it more effectively.

It's a bug in Internet Explorer, not (yet) fixed in IE7. FrontPage
Preview is based on the installed version of IE. Other browsers
display correctly.
