Apostrophe DROITE --> Apostrophe COURBE

C

Clarabellas

Bonjour,

Clara

I don't know what wording is used by the French dialogs, but
Format > Autoformat > options - check 'straight quotes' with 'smart quotes'
or
use a macro

Sub SmartQuotes()
Options.AutoFormatReplaceQuotes = True
Selection.Range.AutoFormat
End Sub

Turn on Smart Quotes as Graham explained. then,

In an existing text, use Find/Replace (Ctrl-H). Type ' in the Find box
and ' in the Replace box and click "Replace All." Then type " in the
Find box and " in the Replace box and click "Replace All."

Alternatively, run AutoFormat with nothing checked except the option to
replace straight quotes with "smart quotes."
