Apostrophes don't display properly in Web PPT

I'm using PowerPoint 10.1.5 and IE 5.2.2 on the MAC.
I save my PPT presentation as a Web page and view it through IE. My
problem is that all the apostrophes in the list of slide titles are
replaced by an O with a small mark on top (sorry I don't know the name
for that symbol). The apostrophes are fine in the regular slides. Is
there a solution for this display issue?

It could be a simple problem of fonts not being available.

The font used for the apostrophy.....what is it called?

Is that same font available on the computer used to view the webpages?
