Hi, David.
Access2000 - Changes are needed. Msg returned "You can't make changes...
This app created in an earlier version of ACCESS..."
It was opened in Access 2000 and although you may no longer be receiving the
message to convert the database to Access 2000, it wasn't converted. This
can happen when one logs in as a user other than the owner of the database
when User-level security has been applied, and then converts the database to
a more recent version of Access.
In any event, log in as the owner of the database and launch Access without
a database file selected. (You may need to join the secure workgroup first
if User-level security has been applied.) Select the Tools -> Database
Utilities menu and select "Convert Database" and select "To Access 2000 File
Format..." Browse to this database and select the name of this MDB file,
then select the "Convert button." When complete, you should be able to make
changes to the database.
HTH.
Gunny
