Hello, I am making this new database, where it checks 2 tables, to see if
both tables are equal to one another.
One Table (table A), has the summary list, with a 4 digit batch number and
the total
the other table (table B), has the details, with a 7 digital batch numbers
and the detail total.
Table A Table B
7801 $1500 7801001 $200
7802 $1000 7801002 $1300
7802001 $100
7802002 $300
7802003 $600
I want to append to table c, table b's value, but make it make it look like
table A
where I take just the first 4 numbers of field A, if they are exact, and
make it just one and total the sum.
