Appending two .pst files

If you can't import a backed up .pst after a crash and loss of email, how do
you append it to the newly installed .pst file. Or otherwise open it or
combine the email from the two files?

Open Outlook, then File->open->outlook data file. Use drag and drop from
the old to the new.

Thank you, but drag and drop doesn't work between files. A circle with a
line through it appears. I'm trying to append the data in Outline1.pst to
the data in outline.pst

Okay, I see. Outlook includes both Personal Files, combining the folders
available in Outlook once you place Outlook1, etc. in with Outline2 in the
folder where the .psts are kept. Messy, but it can be worked out. Thank you.
