application error in Word 98 for Mac

I'm running Office 98 for Mac on a desktop G4. Due to system problems
yesterday I reinstalled Office today and when I launch (and quit) Word I
get the following error message:

compile error in hidden module: AutoExec

Any suggestions to fix this?
