Application error-memory could not be read

I have an excel workbook that I receive an error that
reads "The instruction at "0x3004c359" referenced memory
at "0xfffffffc". The memory could not be "read". I
installed all service packs and available updates. I
restored the file from backup and it worked for one day
and now receives the same error when you try to open it.
The file is an important item, so any help would be
appreciated.
