Application Errors - Memory

My PC was recently re-imaged with Windows 2000. Now when
I open a database in Access, I get one of three errors:

Microsoft Access:MSACCESS.EXE - Application Error
The instruction at "0x77f92373" referenced memory
at "0x004503ab". The memory could not be "written".

I also get the same type of error message with the memory
could not be "read".

And finally I get here isn't enough free memory to update
display when I try to convert the report to Word. There
were only two other applications running at this time and
closing them did nothing to alleviate this error.

My hard drive has plenty of memory and space available.
This is the only application where these errors occur. I
have done some complex presentations in PowerPoint and no
errors at all.

Any one have any idea how to fix this?? Thanks for any
input you might have.

When I had this problem it turned out to be bad RAM. Try running
Memtest86 downloadable from www.memtest86.com. There have been
comments indicating that memtest86 sometimes shows problems which
don't exist according to some technicians. OTOH I've run it overnight
on some systems and haven't located any problems which weren't there.
