"Application failed to initialize" Error

I recently downloaded and installed the Office 2003 Trial Version. I think I
activated the software ok. But when I try to open Word, Excel or Powerpoint,
I get an error "Application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002)."

Anybody have any ideas what might be happening?
