Application is disabled, and databases may not be created

I have just downloaded the Office 2007 60 day trial version, as I want to see
how Access might work for me before I buy it.
I can open the application, but there seems to be nothing I can do with it.
When I try to open any databases it says: 'Application is disabled, and
databases may not be created'.
Does anyone know how to enable the application?
