Application will not open

I cannot open PP with the shortcut on my desktop or
through the Start, Programs menu however if I click on one
of my files it opens. Can anyone tell me whats wrong and
how to fix this?

What happens when you try starting from the shortcut or the Programs menu? Do
you get a message? What do you see when you right click the shortcut and select
Properties?

Have you tried creating a new shortcut?

Also, right-click the existing shortcut and choose Properties from the
resultant dialog box and find out if PowerPnt.exe is available at the
location that the shortcuts point out to.
