Apply a scanned signature to a cell

Is it possible to scan a personal signature, save it in a worksheet
and based on the value of a cell, make it appear within a merged
cell? Thanks for any help.

You cannot insert an image into a cell, merged or not.

The best you can do is save the scanned image as a jpg or similar and insert
onto the worksheet.

Then use JE McGimpsey's lookuppics method to choose from a value in a cell.
