Apply different design template for slides in same presentation

Dear all,

I need to prepare a presnetation which contain more about
1000 slides, using the same design template for whole set
presentation is quite boring.

How can i apply different design template for different
slides in the same presentation set?

PowerPoint 2002/XP supports the use of more than one style in a single
presentation.
