apply font size in PPT 2007

Hi
I've created some templates in Powerpoint 2007. But I have some difficulties
when importing them into some older PPT 2003 files.
1. my newly set font size is not being adapted (while the font-types are)
2. some text boxes get disarranged whiile others don't
