Applying BorderArt to an area less than the whole page

I have a Word file formatted as A4 landscape with two equal columns. The
content of the columns will become sides 1 and 2 of an A5 flyer. I want a
BorderArt border on each side of the flyer. I can apply a line border by,
say, putting the text of each column in a text box. But I can't get the
BorderArt menu to wrap around anything less than a full A4 page. Any tips?

In Publisher, you can apply Border Art to any text box or object. Word,
however, does not permit this. There is, however, a workaround that you
might try. If you have Word 2000 or above, use the "2 pages per sheet"
option in the Page Setup dialog (not the one in the Print dialog). This
gives you two logical pages per page, allowing you to apply a page border to
either or both.

Unless you display a two-page spread in Print Layout view, you'll see only
one page, and you work with these pages just as you would full-sized ones,
but they will print two to a sheet.

You may have to reorganize your pages to get them in order for a flyer or
brochure--or you can use a booklet-type layout, which also allows you to use
page borders for each page.
