Applying Design Background

Dave Mandle

We have the old 97 version here at my law office in San
Francisco. I want to do a 15-20 slide presentation. We
have the standard 10-15 designs (i.e Fireball, Notebook).
My ?? is, can I change presentation backgrounds for each
slide? After the first slide is finished, I insert the
next slide, change the background, but then each and every
slide after that reverts to my new background that I chose.

I would think that I should be able to have 15 slides, with
15 different backgrounds. Pls help and THANKS!!!!!

See www.echosvoice.com for a few ways of accomplishing what you're after.

But first think about why you're after it. ;-)

Why change backgrounds on each slide? It tends to be distracting to the
audience. They'll end up wondering what's the deal with the bgs changing
all the time (and spend less time listening to you).

Hi there

I'm having the same problem and have posted a similar
question just now. I wondered if you've received any
response? I've a feeling that you can't have multiple
masters in this version of powerpoint (take alook at the
powerpoint version 2002). I'll let you know if I get a
response.

Good luck
Jayne
